• China's Threat: U.S. and Philippine Conduct Joint Military

The Philippines and U.S. Naval forces began joint military exercises codenamed 
Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) at the South China Sea on 
June 27 to enhance the capability of both sides through practical exercises 
and lectures.
